3Nights is a series of three portrait concerts that each focus on a collaborative, evening-length presentation of three distinct composers' works featuring percussion. It is a dialogue between artists from disparate styles of music.
The 2015 edition of 3Nights is co-presented by Arts Brookfield and The Ecstatic Music Festival. The series begins in January at the Winter Garden at Brookfield Place with Ian Williams (guitarist from Battles), choreographer Deborah Lohse and composers from the Wet Ink ensemble — Alex Mincek, Sam Pluta and Eric Wubbels — then concludes later in the spring at the Kaufman Center with Xiu Xiu.

On June 22, Mantra Percussion closed-out the 2014 Bang on a Can Marathon with Michael Gordon's powerful 65-minute masterpiece for percussion sextet, Timber — a performance praised by The New York Times as "seductive and accessible".
